Friendly Debt Relief ("we," "us," "our") is a division of First Mover, LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website, friendlydebtrelief.loans, and our services.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use our site, and information from third parties we use to match you with debt relief providers.
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, phone number, physical address, state of residence
- Date of birth
- Social Security number (only with your explicit consent, for soft credit verification)
- Self-reported debt amount and debt type
- Consent records (TCPA, FCRA, Terms of Service agreement)
Information generated automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device identifiers
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs
- TrustedForm certificate data (industry-standard consent verification)
Information from third parties:
- Soft credit check data from consumer reporting agencies, with your consent, to verify eligibility
- Data appended from lead suppliers where you previously opted in to receive debt relief information
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Match you with a licensed debt relief provider
- Verify your eligibility for debt relief programs
- Communicate with you about your inquiry
- Comply with legal obligations including FCRA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and state consumer protection laws
- Improve our service and detect fraud or abuse
3. How we share your information
We share your information only as follows:
With the matched debt relief provider. When we introduce you to a provider, we share the information necessary for the provider to contact you and evaluate your eligibility: your name, contact information, state, and self-reported debt details. You consent to this sharing at the time of the match.
With service providers. Companies that help us operate our website, hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (SendGrid), and consent verification (TrustedForm). These providers are contractually bound to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
When required by law. We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your information. We do not sell or rent your personal information to unrelated third parties.
4. FCRA and soft credit checks
If we perform a soft credit check as part of the eligibility process, we do so with your explicit written consent captured on our site. Soft credit checks do not impact your credit score and do not appear on your credit report as visible to lenders. You may decline the soft credit check and still complete the eligibility process, though your match may be more preliminary.
5. TCPA and consent to contact
By providing your phone number and consenting to contact on our site, you authorize Friendly Debt Relief and the matched debt relief provider to contact you at that number regarding debt relief options. This may include autodialed and prerecorded calls and text messages. Consent is not required as a condition of using our service. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or emailing support@friendlydebtrelief.loans.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls on sensitive fields such as SSN and date of birth. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt out of specific types of processing

We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, email support@friendlydebtrelief.loans.
